STATIONARY ENGINEER

NVE Inc.
is seeking a Stationary Building Engineer in support of an operations and maintenance (O&M) contract within the Offutt Air Force Base (AFB) in Omaha, NE.
The Stationary Engineer shall have three (3) years of building engineer experience obtained in a trade or occupation in maintenance, repair and operation of buildings such as:
air conditioning equipment mechanic, refrigeration equipment mechanic, Operating Engineer, HVAC control systems mechanic, etc.
Candidate must have a third-grade engineer license and be able to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot HVAC equipment.
We're looking for a team member who is skilled, likes troubleshooting, and is open to learning and working with building automation systems (BAS).
There are multiple shifts available.
The Engineer would be responsible for:
Operating and maintaining the assigned facility and all related systems/components, including the building automation system.
Operating BAS and associated building controls.
Operating and maintaining all heating and cooling systems.
Essential Functions Minimum 3 years' experience in all facets of HVAC including:
Thorough knowledge of centralized chilled water systems and related equipment for 1800-ton chillers.
Maintenance of air handlers with pneumatic and digital controls including secondary pumps, damper motors, blower motors, and belt replacements.
AHU preheat/reheating of coils.
High pressure steam plant operations, including water treatment knowledge.
Ability to work independently troubleshooting and responding to service work orders.
Chill Beam system knowledge a plus.
Job Requirements/Duties:
Understand written and oral instructions to perform the required work.
Perform basic building maintenance (preventive, predictive) of a government facility.
Must be knowledgeable and skilled in HVAC installs, services and repairs.
Responsible for maintaining, responding to service requests, as needed, under guidance of the PM.
Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
Perform emergency repairs and available for after hour and weekend repairs.
Work effectively with the customer, building tenants and other team members.
Ability to troubleshoot, complete work order assigned in a timely matter.
Ability to read Architectural and Manufacturing blueprints.
Qualifications for the position include:
High School or Equivalent (at a minimum) Third-grade Engineer License (must be maintained for continued employment) Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Universal CFC License, required OSHA 10 desired An existing Building Background Investigation for federal facilities desirable.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
