Summary:
As our new Metal Shop Associate, you will produce finished metal products per plan specifications.
As a Metal Shop Associate, you must be:
o Focused - able to analyze issues and determine a course of action to rectify o Steady - able to complete a set of procedures before moving on to a new one o Task-oriented - have high standards of quality and accuracy to get the job done o Reliable - you understand that consistency is important to provide the best service o Quality-driven - producing correct and attractive copy is very important to you o Independent - Able to work on your own As a Metal Shop Associate, you will:
o Follow instructions given by the Lead or Supervisor to complete assigned tasks.
o Reads and interprets prints, instructions, and symbols, to ensure that the completed parts match what is required and must have full understanding of print reading and welding symbols, along with geometric tolerances and how they relate to the finished part.
o Ability to set up and weld complex assemblies, using mig welders and spot welders.
